CMCS Playground – Prinsburg, Minnesota

Construction
of two basin style playground areas at this elementary school playground
allowed no exit for rainwater. With concrete surrounding a solid clay
base, artificial drainage was a must.
Lying
out of harm’s way in the clay base under the fabric soil separator,
beneath 5 inches of pea rock the Multi-Flow has been quietly doing
its job for the past 10 years. The playground, even under swings and
slide destinations, remains useable after spring Minnesota downpours.
This Multi-Flow was trenched in and the trenches were filled to the
surface with very coarse sand.
